Community Partnership on Aging
The City of Highland Heights, Lyndhurst and South Euclid have formed a unique partnership, called the Community Partnership on Aging, to help adults age 60 and over connect to services and activities that promote independence, a healthy lifestyle, personal growth and community involvement. Many of the services and activities are free or available for a minimal fee. Please visit the Community Partnership on Aging website or call our office at (216) 291-3902 for more information.
The Community Partnership on Aging offers:
- A lunch program
- Chore information and referrals
- Counseling
- Family support services
- Health and wellness service education
- Homemaking/housekeeping assistance
- Tax and health insurance assistance and information
- Tours and trips
- Transportation services
Meals on Wheels
The Hillcrest Meals on Wheels is always looking for volunteers to deliver meals. If you would like to volunteer, or if you would like to order meals for you or someone you know, please view the brochure or call Judy Conkling, Program Coordinator at (440) 449-3551 for more information about the program.
Commission on Aging
The Commission on Aging serves as an advisory panel to City Council on all matters relating to aging, and recommends programs for residents of the City. For more information on the Commission on Aging programs, contact Mary Velotta at 440-461-2440 ext. 147.
