The Mayor and Council request your cooperation in conducting an orderly meeting.  Following reports and discussions by various department heads, committees and the Mayor, the floor will be opened to the public for a period of time when you may present your business, or comment on articles listed on the agenda.  This will be done by rising, recognition from the Chair, stating your name, address, representation (if any) and your business.

1.                  Mayor’s Appointment:  Planning & Zoning Commission.  Donald P. McFadden.

2.                  Motion authorizing payment to the Suburban Anticrime Network (SPAN) in the amount of $14,000 for the annual dues plus $3.000 for radio upgrades, total $17,000.

3.                  Proposed Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Physio-Control, Inc., for the purchase of one (1) Physio-Control Lifepack 15 Heart Monitor/Defibrillator and associated equipment, in an amount not to exceed Twenty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($27,500.00), pursuant to the Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Act, and declaring an emergency. 4.                  Proposed Resolution authorizing a settlement of a pending grievance and declaring an emergency. (Mayor Coleman and Council as a Whole)

5.                  Second Reading Proposed Resolution 8-2010 authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Statewide Ford Lincoln Mercury, Inc. for the purchase of three (3) 2010 Ford Crown Victoria police cruisers, in an amount not to exceed Sixty Three Thousand Dollars ($63,000.00), including the trade-in allowance for three (3) Ford Crown Victoria police cruisers pursuant to the Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Act, and declaring an emergency. 6.                  Second Reading Proposed Resolution 9-2010 authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with TAC Computer for the purchase of One (1) HP Proliant ML 350 G6 Server including four (4) 750 GB SAS Hard Drives, one (1) Redundant Power Supply, One (1) Microsoft Windows 2008 Server Network Operating System, Twenty (20) Microsoft Windows 2008 CALs, One (1) APC backup and installation for the Police Department in an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00), and declaring an emergency. 7.                  Second Reading Proposed Ordinance 2-20120 appropriating for current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Highland Heights, Ohio, for the period commencing January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2010, and declaring an emergency. (Mayor Coleman)

8.                  Third Reading Proposed Resolution 6-2010, authorizing and directing the Mayor to renew the inter-agency contract with the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court to continue a Community Diversion Program for first time juvenile offenders, and declaring an emergency. (Mayor and Council)

9.                  Executive Session to discuss purchase of property, labor negotiations, and imminent and pending litigation.
