Service Department - Snow and Ice Control
During the winter months, Service Department staff works around the clock to ensure that City streets remain safe, clear and travelable for all members of the community. Our on-call staff can typically clear all City roadways in about five hours; however, varying degrees of severity in snow fall and temperature, traffic and available storage space on tree lawns can affect the time it takes to clear City streets.
Please follow City guidelines for installing mailboxes to ensure yours is not damaged by snow plowing, and consider installing a snow shield to protect your mailbox
