Parks and Recreation
The City of Highland Heights takes great pride in providing residents
with a safe, serene and beautiful place to call home. Our Parks and Recreation
Department works year-round to ensure that residents and families may take
full advantage of the fun and beauty we have to offer.
Community Park
5905 Wilson Mills Road
Come check out our newly renovated facilities at the City of
Highland Heights Community Park, spanning 35 acres, which now includes a
nature trail, jungle-gym, baseball and softball fields, a zero-entry swimming
pool and picnic area. The new parking lot design ensures a safer space for
children to play.
Park Pavilion Rental Information
5905 Wilson Mills Road
Pavilions may be reserved by residents, businesses and schools
located in the City of Highland Heights. Proof of residency is
required. Pavilion is available from May to October. One rental is
permitted per year, per family. A deposit is required in advance and
will be refunded if pavilion is left in good condition. No alcoholic
beverages are permitted in the park.

The community pool is open to residents and employees of City
of Highland Heights businesses. The zero-entry pool is approximately
10,000 square feet. For information on pool passes, swimming lessons,
pool parties and the Hurricanes Swim Team, check

Pool Closings:
The pool will temporarily close when the temperature is 65 degrees
or below. The pool will also close temporarily for all thunder and/or
lightning storms. Please call the pool to find out the open/close
status during inclement weather at (440) 442-2423. The pool will open
late during home swim meets or pool parties.
Sports
The City of Highland Heights Community Park is filled with sports
activities throughout the spring, summer and fall. For summer sports
information (Boys Baseball, Girl Softball, Swimming, T-Ball, Tennis) check

Summer Day Camp
Children entering kindergarten through seventh grade will enjoy
weekly field trips, lunch treats, sports, games and arts and
crafts to develop children’s skills and interests, enhance self-esteem and
encourage respect for themselves and others. See Summer Day Camp information
